A few quick updates …

First, my short poem, “Delaware Sheets,” will appear in Every Day Poets on May 14.

Second, when my set of three poems, entitled “Three Dreamers,” appear in Illumen Magazine next year, they will be combined into a single long poem. The tentative new title for this revised piece will be “Birds, Machinery and Warfare: Three Dreamers Leave an Office at Dusk.”

Finally, based on a few informal conversations with a publisher, it is possible that my poetry will appear in a new kind of venue in the coming months. I’ll be able to make an announcement if and when those plans are finalized.

I hope everyone is having a great Spring!

Me reading W. H. Auden …

Just for fun, I added a page here with links to a couple of videos. They show me trying my hand at reading my favorite poet of all time, W. H. Auden.

Publication Notice, Dagda Publishing Features “Our Room In Brooklyn”

Dagda Publishing in the United Kingdom today featured my poem, “Our Room in Brooklyn.” This was a deeply personal piece that I first drafted many years ago in Park Slope, Brooklyn, but I was initially unsatisfied with how it developed. I recently reworked the poem extensively, though, and was quite eager to share it with an audience.

As always, I’m grateful to Dagda Publishing and its warm community of readers and poets for their encouragement and feedback.
