Constructive feedback?

This was an actual comment on one of my blog posts tonight:

“Put your big girl panties on and DEAL WITH YOUR FEELINGS, man. :p”

  1. *me. I’m the twerp.

Excellent use of the word, “twerp.”

Um… what were we talking about? Oh yeah. That hateful story, “The Most Dangerous Game.”

I apologized for hurting Eric’s feelings, which caused him to remind me that sorry doesn’t make the hurt go away.

At this point, I decided that the conversation had reached the level of trolling which now required an assault of his manliness. I don’t think I was wrong. Lol.

  2. You can read the entire conversation, here.

I stand by my trolling. And by my dislike of all colonial stories, which include Rudyard Kipling (except the Riki Tiki Tavi story. That was awesome! I call it “The Little Mongoose Who Could.”) et al.

Although, Eric, if you feel compelled to quit WordPress because of the trolling a la Joss Whedon quitting Twitter, um…. you might actually need to put on some big boy pants and deal with that insecurity as well. I’m just being a twerp by saying unfriendly, moderately funny things. To make you laugh.

  3. GREAT MINDS THINK ALIKE.

It was that damn BunnyQuest story that started us thinking about animals!!!

There was a great animated film of that story that we watched when we were kids. It was super scary, that the cobra (some scary snake) was going to sneak in the house and kill the boy, but his mongoose saved him!!!

If you find that story or film, post it! Not that I’ll have time to read it or watch it, but …

you stay out of trouble, young man!! ❤
