Well would you believe it… my ever favourite film. This is true genius. Nowadays it’s all sfx and no atmosphere, in those days it was ALL atmosphere. This film’s special effects feature ordinary people ordinarily sweating buckets in gloriously ordinary black and white, and not only that… but really real stages for really real people… no really, it’s PHENOMENAL. Cheers Eric, you made my day.

I have actually never heard of this film before, even though I really enjoy apocalyptic sci-fi. (I just really liked the poster, and I was thinking about the latest frightening news about climate change.) If it’s as good as you say it is, I’ll have to hunt it down at some point.
