The best thing on the net right now:

If I could pick a single thing on the Internet that I would recommend to another American right now, it would be the Facebook page of Dr. Heather Cox Richardson.  Richardson is an author, political historian and Professor of History at Boston College who posts regular commentary about history and politics.  She admirably breaks things down in plain language that is accessible to a layperson — but she doesn’t dumb things down either.  (Her commentary about the January 6th coup attempt has been invaluable.)

She has a websitea Twitter page, and a Youtube channel too, but for some reason I find her Facebook uploads a little easier to navigate.  (And that’s weird, because Facebook’s configuration typically feels clumsier to me than that of other platforms.)

Anyway, do check out her videos.
