A dear friend sent this to me partly as a joke, I think, given my affinity for tales about rabbits.  I still wonder about that fate of giant white nomadic hare that frequented my yard for a while after I first arrived in Roanoke.

It’s a great piece.  Nishino Yoichi is a contemporary artist, but I can’t determine the date of the illustration, or even its title in English.
