Asides

Dear Haiku Journal,
Stop e-mailing me after
Rejecting my poem!

Being a writer is validating. I get to meet people who are even more alcoholic than I am.

😀

I just asked a close friend for technical advice for plotting the book sequel (military’s use of satellite imagery).

I told her to just stop me whenever it sounded like I was on crack.

Happy Birthday, DV!

Happy Birthday to a damn fine writer and a damn fine friend!

It is number 37 for the world’s next H.P. Lovecraft, Dennis Villelmi!!

I signed my first book today.  🙂

“Ah, distinctly I remember
“It was in the bleak December
“And each separate dying ember
“Wrought its ghost upon the floor.”

I’m off to travel through time and space to a long-ago, magical land.

Got my ticket from storyteller Sunday Frey-Blanchard. 🙂

I sold a book in ITALY!! Global Village, Baby!!

I’ve received a few queries about the timetable for a sequel to “The Dogs Don’t Bark In Brooklyn Any More,” and I’m quite grateful for readers’ interest.

At this point, I am a little uncertain about how long it might take me to complete the sequel, so I can’t give a definitive answer. Rest assured, though, that work has begun, and it will be a major priority for me moving forward.

Thanks again for joining the journey!

I may be on the net little or not at all tomorrow, depending on a busy schedule, so I just thought I’d post the link below to Every Day Fiction.

My short story, “The Silver Leaf,” is scheduled to appear there tomorrow morning. 🙂
