Publication Notice, Under The Bed Magazine to feature “The Song of the Wheat.”

I’ve been informed by the nice folks at Under The Bed Magazine that my short horror story, “The Song of the Wheat,” will appear in an upcoming issue.

This should be my first short story in a print publication inside the United States. This should also be my first real foray into supernatural horror, as opposed to science fiction horror.

I am tremendously grateful to Managing Editor Wednesday Lee Friday and her colleagues for granting me exposure in this terrific horror magazine.

Snowed in today? Need a scary story to take away your cabin fever?

I am reposting the link to my free zombie tale, “The Siege of Fort Buzzard,” in light of the extremely positive feedback the story has gotten from readers over at the “Tales of the Zombie War” website.

I finished this story feeling that it was not my best work — then was pretty surprised at how much people loved it. Just look at the comments section 🙂

Enjoy, and remember to aim for the brain!

A fantastic review today for “The Dogs Don’t Bark In Brooklyn Any More.”

“The Dogs Don’t Bark In Brooklyn Any More” received an enormously positive review today from fiction blogger Kimi Small (“The Small Girl.”)

Book Review: “The Dogs Don’t Bark in Brooklyn Anymore” by Eric Robert Nolan

[“Nolan’s weaving of the present and the past was remarkable–because in this action, he has revealed his interest in and his grasp on the psychology of people.

“Eric Robert Nolan is a natural. He is deliberate is his storytelling and cinematographic in his descriptions. There is difficulty in penning action scenes but Nolan, at no point becomes overwhelming. His attention to detail is an indication that he means for nothing to slip by us as we read.”]

More positive reviews for “All Hail the New Flesh.”

There were two positive reviews today for “All Hail the New Flesh.”

The first is by my co-author Andrea Hinchey, who penned the entry “Requiem.”  (Andrea was kind enough to give high marks for my own story, “At the End of the World, My Daughter Wept Metal.”)

All Hail the New Flesh by Dagda Publishing

The second is Amazon Reviewer Rowena Hoseason rating the sci-fi short story anthology at an 8 out of 10.

Just a gentle reminder …

If you have read “The Dogs Don’t Bark In Brooklyn Any More” and are feeling so inclined, would you care to share your thoughts via a customer review at its Amazon page? All opinions are welcome, as is candor, of course.

In addition to providing valuable feedback for new writers, Amazon reviews help readers make informed choices about whether they might like the book.

Thanks. 🙂

A few frights from a few friends …

If you do happen to pick up “All Hail the New Flesh” (and you should, before the robots kill us all), then please make sure you check out the stories by my friends and talented fellow fiction writers, Dennis Villelmi (“The Apian Way”), and Jex Collyer (JS Collyer, “Isaac Heights.”)

I know I’m looking forward to their stories. 🙂

eBay?

It’s come to my attention that my book is being sold on eBay and online bookstores in the United Kingdom.

It costs less if you simply purchase a brand spanking new copy directly from Dagda Publishing:
