The Piker Press features “Ode”

I’m so happy today to see that The Piker Press has featured my very short love poem, “Ode,” in its May 25 issue.  You can find it right here.

As always, thanks to Editor Sand Pilarski for including me in The Piker Press community!

“Ode,” by Eric Robert Nolan

I love the way you
draw your lips, divine,
in your tilting smile.

If I could only
draw your lips, in lines,
the portrait would beguile.

Would that I could
draw your lips, to mine.
Delight me for a while?

“Ode,” by Arthur O’Shaughnessy (From the “I Didn’t Write This” series)

I recommended the “I Didn’t Write This” series last night to a poet who is a new friend of mine.

I absolutely love this series.  It’s incredible how good it is.
