Lothlorien Poetry Journal publishes my poem “Confession” and two of my haiku.

I’m honored today to see Lothlorien Poetry Journal publish three of my poems.  The first is “Confession,” and the latter two are haiku.

You can find all three right here.

Lothlorien Poetry Journal is a truly superlative independent literature magazine, at which I am always proud to see  my work accepted.  Thanks once again to Editor Strider Marcus Jones for allowing me to be a part of this community.

And, hey — Lothlorien even ran one of my favorite paintings to accompany the poems!  It’s Caspar David Friedrich’s “Wanderer Above the Sea of Fog.”  I’m not sure if the editor knew that (I’ve posted it on Facebook), or if it’s just serendipity.

Three of my poems published in Lothlorien Poetry Journal Volume 33: Vortex Voyagers.

Things are looking up a bit in stormswept Roanoke.  First, a break in the rainy weather allowed a sojurn today to Benny Marconi’s for pizza.  Second, the mailman brought me my copy of Lothlorien Poetry Journal Volume 33: Vortex Voyagers.

It is a wonderful 237-page tome of outstanding work, and it is just the after-midnight reading that I need right now.  (Insomnia strikes again.)

If you want to enjoy it too, you can order your copy right here.  (And if you do happen to purchase a copy, I hope you peruse the three poems of mine there — “school shooter,” “This Windy Morning” and “The Rough Violet Stone.”  These were published online by Lothlorien in February.)

Lothlorien Poetry Journal prints my tribute to Dennis Williamson in Volume 29.

I’m honored to share here that Lothlorien Poetry Journal Volume 29 includes my tribute to my late friend and colleague, Dennis Williamson.  (Dennis was also known by his nom de plume, Dennis Villelmi.)  The journal originally published the essay online on October 19th.)

Lothlorien Poetry Journal features free verse/rhyming/experimental poetry, short stories and flash fiction; the theme for Volume 29 is Amplified Voices in the Murmurs of Infinity.  I am so pleased to be published beside 71 renowned poets and authors, and I’m grateful to Editor Strider Marcus Jones for accepting my essay.

You can purchase Volume 29 right here at Lulu.
