Poetry Pacific features “The Writer”

I’m so happy to share here that Poetry Pacific published a poem of mine yesterday in its 2021 issue — you can find “The Writer” right here.

Established in Vancouver in 2012, Poetry Pacific is now an annual publication, and this year’s edition includes 62 poets and four visual artists.  Thanks once again to Editor Yuan Changming for allowing me to share my work through this exemplary international online journal.

“Forever – is composed of Nows,” by Emily Dickinson

Forever – is composed of Nows –
‘Tis not a different time –
Except for Infiniteness –
And Latitude of Home –

From this – experienced Here –
Remove the Dates – to These –
Let Months dissolve in further Months –
And Years – exhale in Years –

Without Debate – or Pause –
Or Celebrated Days –
No different Our Years would be
From Anno Dominies –

What the *$#@?

Thanks, Amazon, but I honestly didn’t mean to order my belt from goddamned Munchkinland.

Who was this designed for?  A ventriloquist dummy?

Did they pass along my order to the Build-A-Bear Workshop?
