The Galway Review 14 anthology was released yesterday with my love poem, “Where Would We Go?”

I’m honored to be one of 17 poets worldwide whose work was selected for The Galway Review 14, the latest annual anthology from The Galway Review in the Republic of Ireland.  My love poem “Where Would We Go?” appears on Page 60; it was first first published online by the journal a month ago.

This is the second time that my work has appeared in one of the journal’s yearly anthologies.  Thanks once again to Managing Editor Ndrek Gjini and the rest of the leadership and staff of this distinguished publication.

I’m ecstatic!  The Galway Review today published my poem “Where Would We Go?” — and also selected it for its next anthology, The Galway Review 14.

The anthology will be released in April 2026; I’ll post purchasing details when they become available.

The Galway Review is the leading literary magazine for Galway, the fourth largest city in the Republic of Ireland.  It features contemporary reviews, fiction, non-fiction, poetry and photography, and seeks to publish work that is “beautiful and different.”

I am once again grateful to Managing Editor Ndrek Gjini and his colleagues for allowing me to see my work showcased by this important literary resource for Northern Europe and beyond.

I’m honored today to see The Galway Review publish another poem of mine — this time “Smiling Among Inert Shipwrecks.” 

The Galway Review is the city’s leading literary magazine, and a wonderful cultural resource for Ireland and the world.  As always, I am grateful to the journal’s editorial staff for allowing my work to appear in such a distinguished periodical.

Check out these awesome Christmas presents I received from some totally cool Roanoke friends — bookstands for displaying some of the publications that have featured my poems.  🙂

Also among the Yuletide goodies were an Irish coin and a piece of Connemara marble — ideal for setting up beside my copy of The Galway Review 12.

Hot off the press from Ireland — The Galway Review 12.

I am currently enjoying The Galway Review’s annual anthology, The Galway Review 12 — which includes my poem, “The Beach House, Early Spring.”   (The piece was published online by the magazine in October 2023.)

This really is one of the nicest honors I’ve received as a poet.  The Galway Review is the city’s leading literary magazine, with more than a half a million readers worldwide, and I was included along with just seven other poets to see my work appear in this annual publication.  I remain quite grateful to the magazine’s editors for selecting my poem.
