You know it’s a great April Fool’s day when you successfully persuade someone there’s a bear in your home.

Life is good, and I AM A COMPLETE BASTARD.

I also got a few friends with a story about Gerard Butler shooting a movie in downtown Roanoke. (Though plenty of people clued to the gag pretty quickly too.)

Buk 100 Volume 3 is a go!

I got some more good news today as well — Newington Blue Press has returned after a hiatus, and will release the third volume of Buk 100, its commemorative chapbook series honoring Charles Bukowski!   It will include a new flash fiction story of mine, entitled “Bill and I.”

I’ll post details and ordering information when they become available.

The Piker Press features “Lying Close”

I’m honored to share here today that The Piker Press has published an older poem of mine, entitled “Lying Close.”  You can find it right here.

Thanks yet again to Editor Sand Pilarski for allowing me to be a part of this wonderful creative community!

I am still definitely on the mend, folks.

I haven’t been posting much, but that’s because I am TIRED AS HELL, not because I am dying or anything.

I can feel myself getting incrementally better. It’s just a slow process.
