Steve Cawte has passed away.

I was saddened early this morning to learn of some terrible news — Impspired Editor Steve Cawte has passed away.  Like many other writers, I was lucky to benefit from his warmth and encouragement when he published my work in his first-rate literary magazine.

Steve was a sublimely gracious man; his kindness permeated his every interaction with his fellow creative people.  And he will be sorely missed by the indie lit community that he worked so hard and so cheerfully to promote.

Impspired Volume 13 features three of my poems.

Impspired in the United Kingdom released its 13th volume today, featuring three of my poems: “At the Coffee Shop,” “Autumn Girl” and “A Poet’s Short Note to His Muse.”  (These pieces were previously published online in Impspired Issue 26.)

You can purchase a paperback copy of Impspired Volume Thirteen right here over at Amazon.

As always, I am grateful to Editor Steve Cawte for allowing me to see my work published by such an outstanding literary magazine!

Three of my poems are featured in Impspired Issue 26.

I am absolutely honored today to see three of my poems published in Issue 26 of Impspired in the United Kingdom.  The three poems are “At the Coffee Shop,” “Autumn Girl” and “A Poet’s Short Note to His Muse.”

You can find all three poems right here.  The print edition will be released at the end of January.

Thanks once again to Editor Steve Cawte for allowing me to see my work appear in such an outstanding independent literature magazine!

Three of my poems included in the Impspired Magazine Volume 9 anthology

I’m delighted to share here that three of my poems were included in Impspired Magazine Volume 9.  The anthology is a print collection composed of writing from Impspired Issues 17 and 18, and includes work from more than 100 writers from around the world.  You can find it at Amazon right here.

The pieces authored by me are as follows: “A Churchgoer Passes My Yard on Sunday Morning,” “The Secretary” and “The Bureaucrat.”

Thanks once again to Editor Steve Cawte for allowing me to see my work published in such an outstanding literary collection!  I really am honored.

Impspired includes one of my poems in the “Love, Loss and Cardiac Issues” special fundraising anthology.

I am truly honored to have a poem selected for a special project undertaken by Impspired in the United Kingdom — a new literary collection entitled Love, Loss and Cardiac Issues.  The anthology is composed of creative work from people throughout the world whose lives have been touched by loss due to heart disease.  Impspired will donate the profits from the collection to cardiac research.

The cover art that you see was created by the talented Poppy M. E. Brill, a 15-year-old student from Lincolnshire, UK.

The poem of mine selected was my prose love poem, “Her Smile Was Silver Jupiter.”  I am grateful indeed to Editor Steve Cawte for allowing my work to be a part of this important publication.

Love, Loss and Cardiac Issues can be ordered right here from Amazon.

Impspired features three of my poems

I am quite honored today to share that three of my poems have been published in Issue 17 of Impspired in the United Kingdom.  The three poems selected were “A Churchgoer Passes My Yard on Sunday Morning,” “The Secretary” and “The Bureaucrat.”  You can find them right here.

Impspired is a truly wonderful literary magazine that confronts the reader with a range of inventive, lyrical poetry.  I am grateful indeed to Editor Steve Cawte for allowing me to see my work appear there.
