I got some really nice news a little while ago — Scars Publications has included my short poem “Nothing” in its 2024 Poetry Review Date Book. (The poem was originally published by Scars this past August in Down in the Dirt magazine — and then again the following month in the CastingOff poetry anthology.)
The 2024 Poetry Review Date Book is a weekly planner that includes short poems and artwork from both Down in the Dirt and its sister publication, cc&d magazine. You can purchase it right here at Amazon for just $14.99.
Thanks once again to Editor Janet Kuypers for including my work in another outstanding Scars book. 🙂

I’m so pleased to note here that Down in the Dirt has once again included a poem of mine in a poetry collection. This time out, the magazine published “An Ode to the Paintings of a Newly Discovered Artist” in an anthology it released today, Late Frost. ) The magazine first published this piece in its regular issue last month.
If you’d like to order a copy of the anthology, you can order it from Amazon at this link.
Thanks, as always, to Editor Janet Kuypers for allowing me to share my voice via Down in the Dirt!
I have an extra reason to be thankful this holiday — Scars Publications again selected a poem of mine to appear in its newest anthology. “The Writer,” which Scars published in the May 2020 edition of Down in the Dirt magazine, was included in the Inside the Box anthology that Scars released yesterday. (The anthology includes creative works selected from over the past year from both Down in the Dirt, and its sister publication, cc&d magazine.)
Down in the Dirt released its November 2020 Issue: Pipe Dreams today; if you get your hands on a copy, then please check out my poem “An Ode to the Paintings of a Newly Discovered Artist.”
