Publication notice: Dead Snakes features “A Muted Iris” and “Amanda II: A Haiku”

I’m honored to report that two more of my poems were published today by Dead Snakes.  They are “A Muted Iris” and “Amanda II: A Haiku.”  You can find them here:

“A Muted Iris” was first published by Dagda Publishing in October 2014; the haiku was most recently published last year by Peeking Cat Poetry Magazine.  (It follows “Amanda,” which was featured by both Dead Snakes and Peeking Cat.)

Publication notice: Peeking Cat Poetry Magazine features “March Midnight Window”

I’m honored here to report that Peeking Cat Poetry Magazine has again elected to publish a poem of mine.  Today’s newly released April 2016 issue features “March Midnight Window” on page 17.

This piece originally appeared last year over at Dead Snakes.

It’s the quick November dark that descends annually, silently on us like a vast black cat – just after we turn our clocks back for daylight savings time.

I’ll be greeting the newly early dark tonight by relaxing with Issue 8 of Peeking Cat Poetry Magazine.  I’m going to revisit two poems that I especially like: Scott Thomas Outlar’s “Sucking Vapors” and Erren Geraud Kelly’s “Coffeehouse Poem #43.”

Publication Notice: Peeking Cat Poetry Magazine to feature “hens staring upward.”

I received some terrific news today — Peeking Cat Poetry Magazine will feature one of my latest poems, “hens staring upward,” in its upcoming 8th eighth issue.  I am honored to have my work appear for the first time in this terrific print and online periodical.
