Quick note — I added a “Stories” page here following my self-publication yesterday of “Iridescent Green Sharks” at Wattpad.com. The next entry on the page will be Every Day Fiction’s publication of “The Silver Leaf” on Thursday.

I’ve been lucky to find some success with poetry since first seeking publication last November (as well as my upcoming novel), and I would like to focus more on publishing short stories. I have a few submitted at various markets; I’ll post links if they are accepted for publication.

October finds me in the mood to try new things, and so I have self-published a tragic story entitled “Iridescent Green Sharks” on the wonderful website, Wattpad.com. This story is dedicated to Audrey Hanson.

“Iridescent Green Sharks” is the story of Sean and Maryanne, lifelong friends, storytellers, and lovers of words, who inevitably come to love each other. Yet divergent paths in life can make love, art and even life itself suffer – or ultimately be destroyed.

The story is a bit long, at just over 11,000 words. It can be viewed here:

Dagda Publishing’s Newest Poetry Anthology, “Threads,” Is Now Available!

Dagda Publishing’s newest poetry anthology, “Threads,” is now available, via Amazon.com, the Kindle Store, and the Createspace store.

I am especially excited about this release because it marks the first time any of my poetry has been included in an anthology. As I have noted here before, my set of poems, entitled “Three Dreamers,” will appear alongside the work of Dagda’s talented other contributors.

Publication Notice, Dagda Publishing to include “Three Dreamers” in its Upcoming Poetry Anthology, “Threads”

I am honored to say that three poems of mine have been selected for Dagda Publishing’s next poetry anthology, “Threads.”

The set of poems is entitled “Three Dreamers,” and includes the poems, “The Writer,” “The Secretary,” and “The Bureaucrat.” They describe three people who work at an office together, and explores the darkness in the heart of each one through the iconography of their dreams.

This will be the first time any of my poetry has been featured in an anthology, and I’m very grateful that Dagda felt that they were worthy of inclusion.

The anthology will be released by Dagda on September 27th. “Three Dreamers” was first published by Dagda in January 2013.
